At the same time, I can also understand that the DLC was meant to extend the value of the game for people who were already invested. I'm relatively new to the game myself, only owning and playing it for about a month, so I'm not completely divorced from the feeling that the DLC seems expensive. This should alleviate the small roster complaint, but I see both on Steam and here that now people are complaining about the DLC and acting as if they're being cheated out of content rather than content being added. But still, small roster was an issue for people, and thus after some months, the game was supported via adding new characters.
